Hello fellow dance and music lovers! The PoLKofA (Polka Lovers Klub of America) Texas Chapter 1 had its January general membership meeting on January 9, 2022 in Sealy, Texas. It was an extraordinarily exciting meeting as we first voted on whether the club would continue or dissolve, and then had nominations, election, and installation of board members and royalty. As you can guess from the latter statement, the members voted a resounding, YES!, we want the club to continue.

At the 41 South Texas Polka and Sausage Festival in Hallettsville held in late March, the 4th Class of the South Texas Polka Hall of Fame joined the ranks of orchestras and individuals who have kept the culture of polka and waltz music alive over the decades and into the future.
