Texas Tours Take Youthful Turn

The Alex Meixner Band and Squeezebox, featuring Ted Lange and Mollie B, brought their fun brand of polka to Texas in March. Texas fans ate it up, with many shows being sold out. Alex, Ted, and Mollie loved it, too, with the highlights being able to visit with young musicians and dancers. Here are some of their thoughts on the Texas shows.

The recent tour to Texas was an awesome experience. The band and I explored some different kinds of venues performing two old-school dance gigs (Sefcik Hall and Taiton Community Center). It's something we really haven’t done and it was nice to dip into some different repertoires, as well as let some different people check out our music.
