Dancehall Legend Roy Head Dies at 79

Texas dancehall music legend Roy Head passed away Monday, Sept. 21. He was 79 years old. Best known for his hit "Treat Her Right," Roy Head and his band The Traits catapulted from a Central Texas regional act to national stardom in the 1960s. "Treat Her Right" reached No. 2 on the charts in 1965 (topped only by the Beatles' "Yesterday").

The song recently appeared in the opening credits of the Quentin Tarantino film "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood."
