Po.L.K. of A. Texas

Wow we are in May already. Hopefully all the rain and showers we have had will bring May flowers and plentiful gardens.

Well, get yourself plenty of rest and put on your dancing shoes. Our 30th Klub Celebration is all set and we are excited! Our celebration will be in New Taiton on July 14, 2019; there will be a $10 cover at the door, food will be provided as well.

We will start with a short meeting at 10 am for our members, then the doors will be open to one and all.

We have FOUR (4) bands that will be playing for everyone’s dancing pleasure: Charles & The Fabulous Four, Texas Sound Check, Red Ravens, and Mark Halata & Texavia! We are very excited. Thanks Texas Polka News for being one of our sponsors! We look forward to seeing all of you for a great time. Mark your calendars for July 14, 2019.

On behalf of myself and the Klub we would like to wish all the mothers a very Blessed and Happy Mother’s Day. Wishing your day is full of everything you wish for. For the mothers who are no longer with us, I am sure they are smiling down on you and your family. Again, Happy Mother’s Day to one and all.

If you are ever out and about and are wondering what we are all about, don’t be scared, come and join us. We would love to have you.

And as always, we look forward to seeing you down the road, on the dance floor, or just having a great time at so many happenings around the area.

Take time to thank our military, police, EMS, and firefighters who put their lives on the line every day for us. On behalf of the PoLK of A, “THANK YOU” for your service.

If you would like to become a member, you can contact Betty Tidwell/Membership Secretary at bjtidwell@sbcglobal.net and she will be more than happy to send you an application, or if you see anyone in red and white just ask them about becoming a member.

See you on the dance floor or on the float at a parade…
