The 168th Annual Prazka Pout, or Praha Picnic, took place on Tuesday, Aug. 15, at The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Praha. The picnic takes place every year on August 15, regardless of the day of week, since that date marks the feast day for the parish and a Holy Day of Obligation for Catholics. This year the picnic fell on a Tuesday, but that didn’t stop thousands of visitors (including a group of seminarians from the Czech Republic), who flocked to the country church for Praha’s famous fried chicken and stew meal, along with musical entertainment throughout the day, games for the kids, bingo and a big auction.

Jimmy was born into Czech music with the Henry Brosch Orchestra on his Father’s and the Adolph Migl Orchestra on his Mother’s side.
