Treat Your Sweetheart For Valentines!

Enjoy the best evening of the year at the Valentines Dinner and Piano Concert sponsored by the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center in La Grange on Saturday, February 11, 2023. The formal evening will begin at 4 PM with a social which will include appetizers and featured wines from local Texas wineries. Dinner will be at 6 PM in the Hanslik Banquet Hall. A delicious four course meal and desserts will be served to your table as you dine with friends.

All In The Family Make Up Bavarian Village Band

The Bavarian Village Band was bom in 1979 when Ed Kadlecek, his daughter Nancy, Rennie Guenther and his son Greg played for a Christmas party at Goerkes Country Tavern. The kids, at the time, were in EL CAMPO MELODY BOYS Middle School. The performance went over so well that the band took off from there. In 1980, Graham Green was brought into the band. As Ed says, the equal opportunity system caused them to import a Yankee from Pennsylvania. Needless to say, Graham proved that Yankees play polkas too and has been a wonderful addition to the band.
